Stalking
Fundamentally, stalking is a series of actions that puts a person in fear for their safety. The stalker may follow you, harass you, call you on the telephone, watch your house, send you mail you don't want, or act in some other way that frightens you.
Tips to help you if you are being stalked: 1) When out and you notice someone stalking you, never go to your residence. This tells your stalker where you live, and they can "visit" you. Go to a police station or store where you can phone police. If a cell phone is available, call 911 and tell them your present location.
2) If you are walking and being stocked, never let your stalker know you are aware of their presence. If they know you know, then go into a nearest store or find a near by house to get help.
3) Remember, your safety is number 1, do what ever you can to stay safe.
This means:
Make a scene, never keep quiet about your stalker/stalking.
Tell somone that can help.
Call 911.
Use self defense:
Wedge your keys between your fingers for a quick weapon. (Target the neck or chest)
Use safety pins or needles as weapons.
Kick, slap, punch, bite, or use any self defense menuver to stop your attacker. USE YOUR BODY WEIGHT!
Always carry mace, a knife, or another weapon if you are in danger.
